Buddhism and Pagan Religion

What are the differences between Pagan Religion and Buddhism?

This is Buddhism:

1) The truth of suffering: All life is pain.
2) The truth of the origin of suffering: The cause of pain lies in the desire to live.
3) The truth of the cessation of suffering: Pain is annihilated by annihilating the will to live.
4) The truth of the path to the cessation of suffering. Pain ceases by denying desires and denying participation in life in the world.

This is Pagan Religion:

1) Life is desire in a world of bodies that desire
2) Desire organizes man in the pursuit of happiness by participating in a world that seeks happiness
3) Happiness consists in the satisfaction of desire that satisfies the world in which everyone desires
4) The men’s efforts to satisfy the desires in a wishing world transform the death of the physical body in the birth of the luminous body.

The desire entered in the matter and life was born.
The living matter wanted to continue living.
The pain killed life because it kills the desire.

This is why we are Pagans. We love life.

Who are pagans?

Pagan people must explain their religious beliefs.

We can’t expect people to know our intentions when we use the word “Pagan”.

There are Nazis who say they are pagans. They are not pagans. They are Nazis.

The Christians call “pagans” all people who don’t submit to their God.

There are people who fancy about the Roman Empire. These people say they are pagans. They are not pagans. They are nostalgic of past time.

There are some the people who call “paganism” some kind Christian superstitions practiced in the Middle Ages. These people are not pagans. They are Christians.

There are people who call “paganism” Neoplatonism and Stoicism. These philosophies are not paganism. They are Neoplatonism and Stoicism.

There are some people who think that Plato’s philosophy is pagan philosophy. Plato’s philosophy is not paganism. It is Platonism.

We practice the Pagan Religion so it’s ours to say what are the religious principles of Pagan Religion. What about you who are reading me: what do you believe Pagan Religion is?
